FORCE2016 Best Poster and Demo Winners

Congratulations to the winners....

The FORCE 2016 Poster and Demo awards were given to three submissions that highlight the most interesting, exciting and unique thoughts, ideas and technology for changing the future of research communication. The Poster and Demo co-chairs, Violeta Ilik and Mike Lauruhn were assisted by members of the Poster and Demo Sub-Committee in curating the submissions. During the conference the FORCE 2016 attendees were able to cast their ballots for best poster and demo submission and three submissions were recognized.  The award winners are:

  • Too big to share? Scaling up knowledge transfer workflows from little science to big science  Bernadette M. Randles, Ashley E. Sands, Christine L. Borgman
  • Centralizing content and distributing labor: a community model for curating the very long tail of microbial genomes  Timothy Putman, Sebastian Burgstaller-Muehlbacher, Andra Waagmeester, Chunlei Wu, Andrew I. Su, Benjamin M. Good
  • Think global, act local: innovating nationally with the Italian ORCID hub  Michele Mennielli, Andrea Bollini, Josh Brown
