Angel Flores received his B.S. in Biochemistry from UCLA in 2006. He worked in a business setting for seven years until he decided to pursue graduate studies. In 2013, Angel researched at the University of Southern California in the laboratory of Dr. Joseph G. Hacia as an intern for the California Institute for Regenerative Medicine. In 2015, he joined the laboratory of Dr. Nancy Manley from the Genetics Department at the University of Georgia (UGA), researching age-associated thymic involution. He is currently starting his fifth year as a graduate student at UGA.
