I joined T&F when Co-Action Publishing was acquired in October 2016. This is my second time to work with T&F as I was Publisher in Oslo prior to leaving to start Co-Action with my two co-founders in 2006. I helped to found and served as the first President of the Open Access Scholarly Publishers Association (OASPA) from 2008-2013 and am a member of the present board. Am currently Director at Infrastructure Services for Open Access (IS4OA), which manages the Directory of Open Access Journals. I serve on the advisory boards for OpenAIRE+ and the Munin Conference. Previously I served on the board of SPARC Europe (2010-2013), the Lund University Library Board (2008-2010), the Advisory Board for Linkoping University Press and the Advisory Board for OAPEN. I had the honour of acting as Rapporteur for the European Commission to review the RP7 projects, I participated in the Budapest Open Access Initiative talks in 2012, and have regularly given presentations and held workshops on Open Access publishing. My undergraduate education was from the Univ of Calif Santa Barbara and I hold a PhD in Sociology from Uppsala University, Sweden.
