I run Overton.io, which tracks policy documents - from government and think tanks - and maps them back to the scholarly research that they're based on.

Previously I founded and ran Altmetric, a commercial company offering APIs, bookmarklets and apps that make article level metrics available to publishers, researchers and institutions.

Before that I worked at Nature Publishing Group, where I ended up a senior product manager. While there I worked on Connotea, Nature.com Blogs and the mobile apps, though I started out as a researcher in a psychiatric genetics lab.
