Florian Graef is a Software Developer of the Literature Services team at EMBL-EBI. He graduated 2012 with a BSc degree in Applied Biology from the Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences (Germany). In 2012 he received a MSc with distinction in Bioinformatics at the University of Leicester completing his research project at the European Bioinformatics Institute as a member of the Literature Services Group and  the Functional Genomics Production Team supervised by Johanna McEntyre and Helen Parkinson. Since graduation he continued as a software developer in the Literature Services group focusing on back-end development and datacitation participating in the OpenAIRE and THOR project.
