Responsible for all resources, Coordination and activities associated with the provision of access and delivery of information services as well as individual in-depth consultation to the researchers segment of the BA on information retrieval methods and their importance to research, scholarship, and education.

During 2008-2011, I was the EIFL-OA country coordinator in Egypt and organized the Open Access Week activities in Egypt (18-24) October 2010, conduction seminars, lectures, designing and posting the posters, promotional materials in Arabic and English under the theme 'Open Access in Egypt: A Step Forward':

Editing and the Wiki DRIVER Open Access page about Egypt:

Providing support in Networked Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations (NDLTD) Mentoring Network.

Coordinating work through the library in scientific events in the library of Alexandria as Darwin, 2009 and Einstein 2005.

Participated with a case study in "Scientific Information in the Digital Age: Access and Dissemination", 12 - 16 October, ICTP. Trieste- Italy.

Participated with a case study in the “Copyright Protection in the Digital Age” workshop, 27 - 28 September, 2009, and the library of Alexandria.

Participated in the “Training the Trainers (TTT)” workshop under UNESCO, November 2008, the library of Alexandria.

Participated in the “Intellectual Property and The Digital Age”, at the library of Alexandria, 20 Dec 2008-22 Dec 2008.
