Mohamed is the Manager of Preservation and Digital Services in the KAUST library, he lead the establishment of the KAUST Research Repository; a major initiative of the KAUST University Library to Capture, share, and expand the impact of research-related works of the university. Mohamed also serves in various committee and major initiatives such as the university Open Access Committee, Data Governance Committee, Research Data Management interest group, ORCID implementation and other research information management projects. Mohamed holds an MSc. In Records Management and Digital Preservation from University of Dundee, and a degree in computer science from Pune University. He is a strong advocate for process improvement, a certifi¬ed Six Sigma green belt and black belt practitioner.
