Sharla Lair serves on the LYRASIS Licensing and Strategic Partnerships team as a Licensing Program Strategist. Sharla joined LYRASIS in 2015 after coordinating consortial eresource licensing and training for MOBIUS, a state-wide consortium in Missouri. Prior to MOBIUS, she worked for the Missouri State Library, planning and implementing continuing education programs for Missouri library staff. Sharla obtained a Master of Science in Library and Information Studies and a Master of Science in Geography from The Florida State University. Her professional passions are under the broad umbrella of scholarly communications. These passions include: the role of university presses and library publishing in scholarly communication; open access models; and community building and sustainability around scholarly content and activities.
